One of my most recent projects has been knitting a vest for myself. I have never knitted something that has had to fit before, so I'm a little nervous! This picture is the progress on the front piece of the vest, from the bottom ribbing up. It's already a little "imperfect" but I figure that's part of the deal when hand-knitting something. I'm working off of a pretty simple pattern, and I guess that is the best way to start knitting clothing. If this vest goes well, I may knit a sweater (with sleeves)! I'll update with new pictures of the vest as I make progress. I might take a while though because I've been working on some other stuff lately, like thank you notes for the wedding.
