X O X O

On a more personal note...

Happy Anniversary!
Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.

Etsy Columbus Wedding Challenge Entry

Here's the actual pendant that I'm entering into the Etsy Columbus Wedding Challenge! It's listed in MollyStuff, called Romance in Yellow.

Etsy Columbus Wedding Challenge

I've been working on a design for the Etsy Columbus Wedding Challenge. Here's a sketch of what I'm planning on making!
The pendant will be hand-cut out of sterling silver with a yellow crystal bead hanging from it. I'll probably make earrings that match it... oh and coordinating bridesmaid jewelry? Oh boy... the deadline is Sunday!

Back to Nature

Jacob and I went on a little trip today to the Hocking Hills... it's so beautiful! It was pretty cloudy but it doesn't matter when you're there!

I love all of the trees with crazy roots...

Wedding Pictures from Elbe

I just took the proofs that I like from the photographer's website yesterday, so I've been posting them around! I like this one, it was taken right after the bridal party entered the reception. I like how it's pretty casual, and the lighting is kind of harsh... which is kinda cool!

Perfect Day

Since I don't want to be part of this:

I'm staying home and watching this:
Pride and Prejudice is still my favorite book, and today is the perfect day to watch the whole BBC miniseries and knit!

About me...

I am 23, engaged, and underage... okay... just kidding! I am 23 and engaged, but I am ready to be married! My fiance and I just graduated from the University of Cincinnati in June. I have a degree in industrial (product) design, and I look forward to using my degree.

I live in Columbus with my sister and I am working at a design research firm for the summer. My internship will be over in September, and then I will get married!!!

My job after the wedding will be working as my niece's nanny during the week. I'm really excited about it, because I will work on my own designs and freelance work (toy design and accessories, jewelry) at night and on the weekends. I will get to do what I want without being overwhelmed by the corporate world.
